“I would certainly recommend this book to not only families, but to teachers in the classroom. It could be used in a creative writing activity in which the students "rewrite" an Aesop's Fable, and try to solve the problem in the fable in a new way. The author's clever title, Tommie Turtle's Secret, could be used as a springboard to a classroom activity in which the students think of alternate titles for well known stories.
